Click above to read the whole story. I hope to see this take down will lead to taking down many, many others AND they do succeed in making the public a little more aware of what’s going on. It kills me every time I hear of someone else being scammed out of their hard earned money!!

A few days ago I was venting a bit and asking Why Does It Have to Be So Hard? I complained a bit and even asked for some suggestions to help keep on track. Thanks to those of you that emailed me your words of encouragement - I really appreciated it!

I ended up coming up with my own solution - and I’m happy to say it worked pretty darn well! Wanna know the secret? I’ll be happy to share it … for nothing even, lol! I’ll share this one little secret that got me through what turned out to be nothing more than a little bit of writer’s block, wouldn’t you know?

This technique was so unbelievably SIMPLE and I was able to turn my entire day around!! I will be doing this many times again - every single time I’m having any difficulties keeping on track! - Anita DeFrank

The best thing about this little technique for me was that I was able to put all my thoughts into full, easy-to-read sentences. The words had come to me so easily that I actually came up with too much information. I now get to take one page and turn it into THREE different pages!

Using this one special technique is 100% guaranteed to:

  Invigorate & Refresh You!

  Clear Your Mind!

  Not require ANY Experience!!

  Be a 100% F-R-E-E Technique!

Easy to Use Over and Over and Over Again and Again and Again!

Be Able to Accomplish - No Matter Where You Are!

Be Able to do at 3:00 PM or 3:00AM - ANYTIME!

Anybody Can Do It - Even an 18 Month Old Baby can do half of it (Mine has!)!

I’d offer you a Lifetime, No Questions Asked Full Money Back Guarantee but since it’s free - I can’t.

I know what you’re thinking … “Okay Anita, I’m biting at the bit - and can’t wait to hear it! Tell me already!!”

You also have F_R_E_E PLR Rights! That’s right - You can take full credit for this fabulous tip!!

Okay … I’m done now … here you go:

This is so simple it only takes 2 Super Easy Steps

Step One: Save whatever you’re working on.

©Lisa Barker

I love being a stay at home mom. I can go to the bathroom whenever I want, I can drink water whenever I want and I never have to say ‘excuse me’ unless the children hear.

I haven’t let myself go. I just don’t have to answer to anyone and that’s a definite drawback especially when you return to the workforce.

Once I held an office job after having spent the previous five years alone with three little ones. I hadn’t realized how I’d morphed from a shy person to one who speaks her mind until I was hired as an administrative assistant.

My boss said, “Let’s do a little less talking and a little more work.”

I blurted out, “I can talk and work just fine.” Then realized what I’d said and recovered with, “But you’re the boss and what you say goes. Yes, sir!” It’s not easy being the boss at home and not being one at work.

The hardest thing about having kids and working outside the home is not having enough time to care for the house and my family the way I want to. I want to be there and be in charge. My hat is off to those women who are able to stay home, but choose to work outside the home. They do it all, but I can’t.

While I’m stuck at a desk hiding files of work I have done for the rest of the week (to slowly dole out to a boss that will hyperventilate if he sees me more than five minutes ahead of him with my work) I’m thinking of all the things I could be doing at home that are piling up while I pretend I’m working.

Laundry is multiplying by the nanosecond. Dishes are breeding in the sink and on the counters. Toothpaste is oozing down the bathroom cabinet. Dust bunnies are plotting a siege. Weeds are securing the perimeter of the garden and are poised for an all out war.

Worst of all I’m not there for my kids’ firsts or when they’re sick or when they need me around just so they can ignore me. It’s my job to be there and say, “I told you so,” or “Because I said so,” or “Don’t touch it, that’s gross!”

And then after adding it all up, I discovered that my entire job paid only for my work expenses (clothes and gas) and daycare for the children. In other words, I was working to afford to work. Does that make sense to you?

I’d rather be home where the kids can take me for granted in person. I’m there for them, they get the best care in the world (me) and it doesn’t cost me a dime, just my sanity.

—————————————————

Are you as much of a fan as I am of Aweber? I am literally a HUGE fan of Aweber. However, I was a bit disappointed in the recent dramatic price increase. (Warning - this is a little long post but a very important topic!)

While this increase incudes an awesome stat package … I still think they missed something … they’ve forgotten about the “small biz owner”. This stat package - as good as it might be - it may be just a bit “too good”. I’ll be quite honest w/ you when I say I’m nowhere near in need of some of the new stat options available. We’re talking some really “deep statistical information” - way beyond my needs and way beyond most “small business owners”. Even chatting with some who are “bigger” than me, I’ve found that even they don’t need this much.

Anyway - if you were a customer before I believe 6/10 and as long as you don’t updgrade - nothing will change. You will be “grandfathered” into the same plan you were. However, like I said …

PLEASE TAKE NOTE - If you want everything (including your price) to stay the same - Do NOT Upgrade! Once you upgrade, you will get all the new stat options AND your price WILL INCREASE.

Yes, I’m “yelling” and “bolding” because that is a very important note and the price is a dramatic increase. And like I said, the new statistical options are really above and beyond what most will need.

The good thing is, they do still have their $19/month service available. I am thrilled w/ this because I think this is a perfect price for those who are serious and aren’t afraid to invest into their business but just can’t afford the outrageous price some services charge.

However, that said, my only “beef” about this is the fact that they’ve drastically reduced the “base subscriber rate”. Before the changes, with the “$19″ plan, this was for up to 10,000 subscribers. With the new pricing, this has been reduced to 500 subscribers. Here is the new pricing model:

500 Subscribers $19
2,500 Subscribers $29
5,000 Subscribers $49
10,000 Subscribers $69
25,000 Subscribers $149
Over 25,001 Subscribers … Contact Aweber

So really, to be quite honest with you, Aweber is an absolutely fantastic service - fantastic. I still highly recommend it (even to the small business owner). AND, really, when you think about it … $19 for up to 500 subscribers is not a bad deal at all … not for as wonderful of a service as it is. At this point … my own personal opinion … it’s just the idea. I think they so could have reduced this somewhat - but I don’t think they needed to reduce it quite that much, you know?

Remember, what I just said is for new customers only. If you were a customer before 6/10 and as long as you don’t upgrade - nothing changes.

So all that said, we did have quite the conversation about all this over at one of my favorite internet marketing blogs, ClickNewz.com w/ Lynn Terry ( <a href="http://www.clicknewz.com/1556/aweber-price-increase-2008/" target=_blank">Aweber Announces Dramatic Price Increase ).

Please Note: If you do visit this blog post - make sure you read all the comments. There was quite a bit of confusion as to exacty what was going on until near the end of the conversation when Justin from Aweber stopped by to clear things up. I only wanted to make special notice of this because a lot of it was confusing enoug - not reading the entire way through could start a bunch of confusion all over again.

I’m also pleased to make another special notice that Lynn will be holding a special Q&A webinar interviewing Justin Premick from Aweber about the recent price increase and changes. This is a free webinar but you will need to <a href"http://www.selfstartersweeklytips.com/webinars.htm" target="_blank">register here to get the log in details. This is sure to be a great webinar and unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend. So, be sure to join in. If you do join the webinar, please feel free to stop back here and share your thoughts afterwards. I’d love to be there myself but can’t so I would love to hear how things went.

Edited to add: Oops! Sorry, I almost forgot to tell you when the webinar was! It is tomorrow (6/24) @ 12:00 EST

And regardless of the changes … I must say once again … Aweber still is an awesome service and I still highly recommend it. It’s very high on my “good business investments” list.

Have you ever had a wonderful plan … know exactly what you want to say/do … have it all figured out …

But have the most difficult time putting it into words on a webpage? UGH!

For the past week or so Val and I have been planning and scheming coming up with one of the best plans I’ve had in quite some time. We’ve been working on a plan of action for the new service we’re offering, Affiliate Management.

I couldn’t be more excited about this. I know exactly how I want to do it and like I said, have a plan that’s out of this world. Unfortunately, this plan is stuffed up in this head of mine and spread out over who knows how many emails in the form of quick ideas, bulked smack dab in the middle of some intense brainstorming.

I thought I was so ahead of the game. We had it all figured out … but I’ll be danged if I can get all these thoughts onto the webpage. I know what I want to say … I just can’t seem to say it.

For as many websites, services and blogs that I’ve created over the years … I can honestly say this has been the hardest time I’ve had yet.

And boy, when you’re having these kinds of difficulties, it is so easy to get distracted (ie: making blog posts, lol!)

Any tips on how to get on track, take this bunch of ideas and put them down on a webpage??

I love nothing more than watching the kids play flashlight tag while hubby and I lounge on the back deck with a couple sweet, cool drinks! To me, that’s complete relaxation - something I know I’ve forgotten how to do lately. I came across some awesome Beverage Recipes from one of my favorite blogs, Shakin & Bakin - In the Kitchen with Shelly.

Today I mainly wanted to share the beverage recipes I came across on Shelly’s blog but while I’m chatting about it … if you ever find yourself at loss as to what to have for dinner - hop on over to Shelly’s blog. You’ll be sure to find something. I’ve actually affectionately dubbed Shelly my “recipe gal” - she always has something delicious to offer!

The other night I was digging in boxes of stuff that my parents have been dumping on me ever since we moved into this house over 7 years ago. Some boxes had old kids books, some had things I’d saved from jr high and high school.

Seeing one particular box with folders and papers from when I was about 12 or 13, I suddenly remembered one of the things I wanted to be “when I grow up”. It had been completely forgotten years ago, but there it was staring me in the face - I had wanted to write books since I was able to print my name.

One of my short stories - something about a super hero cat - was neatly printed and tucked away in a folder with other things. I thought I was going to get a chuckle out of it, which I did, but I also realized it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. We were probably forced to write it as assignment and had been learning about certain styles of writing, but still it read as if an adult had wrote it.
I thought back and remembered all the other stories I use to write on a whim, wishing I knew where they all were. Somewhere in a box I’m sure, but I haven’t dug much deeper. I also tried to remember why I had stopped writing, and I couldn’t come up with a solid explanation. I’m sure it was as soon as I entered high school and had better things to do. I remember writing a lot of poetry in high school though, taking it more seriously after my kids were born. Nothing ever became of it though, since being a professional poet is a hard market to crack. So somewhere along the road my writing changed from fantasy world to business world, my true dreams somehow forgotten.

Although I can’t help but think WHY the dream morphed into what it did. When I was a kid I never dreamed I’d write about websites, search engines, and marketing. I dreamed of writing REAL books, or becoming a vet, or a storm chaser, or even a professional singer.

Why did the original dreams fade away?

Granted some dreams just aren’t meant to come true, and we all need a dose of reality to realize that. The singing dream ended in high school because it was something which required talent - which I had for an elite high school choir, but not professionally.

But other dreams, such as certain professions that need to be learned…….where do they go? Is it laziness? Discouragement? Or maybe both?

Funny I went to college for awhile before my kids were born to become an accountant, but quickly realized how much I hated accounting and dropped out. Really I was doing it because it was a “safe” job and all adults are suppose to have “real jobs”. Maybe all that college prep my senior year in high school got me stuck in that “real job” mindset, making me forget all those “crazy dreams” of being something more interesting.

So why can’t we be what we want to be? I find myself lacking motivation often, and I now know why. My main motivator is money and taking care of my family. Sure I weave some of my hobbies and things I enjoy into my websites which keeps me motivated short term. But I lack real motivation because I’m not REALLY doing what I want to do.

I’m not singing, writing, watching storms, or taking care of animals. All of which, I’ve found, tend to distract me when I’m trying to “work”. And yes, my cats DO tend to distract me. I tend to follow them when they walk by so I can play with them. Silly eh? But not really because it goes back to my original interests as a child. Songs distract me sometimes, too, especially when I get one in particular in my head and have to listen to it, belting out the notes while no one is around. Storms I can hardly ever work through, and I have to hop on local weather sites to track which way the storms are going.

I’m starting to ramble. Guess it’s the writer in me, he he.

My main point here is what happened to our childhood dreams, and why aren’t we following them? We all struggle daily to make ends meet, thinking we’ve taken the safe route in life. But did we? Do we all have an easy life because of the profession we’ve chosen for the sake of having a safe “real job”?

Something to think about…….especially if you are at a crossroads in your life. Starting a new path may not be as hard as continuing on the path you are currently on.

This isn’t my site but rather a site up for sale from a good friend of mine. I’m smack dab in the middle of building a new website and service so I’ve banned myself from buying anymore websites or domain names, lol. Otherwise, I’d be jumping all over this myself! (Bakery Scents are my personal favorite candle scents!) The domain name itself is well worth what she’s asking for. I personally would love to see it go to a good home.

She’s letting this great site go very reasonably priced because she simply doesn’t have the extra time time to continue adding content or promotion. (As a matter of fact, she’s working on the same project that I am, lol!) Plus she’s built another site to combine all her “pampering affiliations” into one. I’m sure this was not an easy one for her to give up (been there, done that!)

More than just a website, this is more like a ready-made business. Simply apply to continue w/ the affiliate program she’s with (Prairie Soy Candles) and change some links within the content. Not to mention, this is a perfect content site for adsense.

Here’s a little more info:

- Selling price includes 3 premium domain names:
bakeryscents.com, bakeryscents.net & bakeryscent.com
(definitely a nice bonus)

- Custom Site Template:
It’s custom-made - you won’t find another like it!

- 1 month hosting
Another nice added bonus!

- This site already has ranking w/ google. It’s PR1 and this is with very little posting.
Ha, the new owner will be ahead in the search engine game!

A few words from the current owner, Val …

This site has not had the time taken with it that was meant. Imagine how well you can do with just a little more effort. PR1 with such little effort put forth right now means that it is an incredible domain. Focus your posts and your affiliate or company links and your new site is golden.

She’s currently only asking $85 - however, if you want it - jump on it now. The longer she owns the site, the more content she will be adding to keep it growing in the search engines. This of course will make the price rise as well.

Now between you and I …
Like I said, this really is a ready-made business - a little bit of weekly content, add some adsense, apply for the affiliate plan and you’re good to go. I also recommend adding a newsletter - keep in contact with your readers! (Of course I do, I always recommend a newsletter, lol!)

P.S. I have no affiliation with the sale of this site (other than Val’s a good friend of mine). I just wanted to share with our readers this great deal!

P.P.S. So hurry up - you know you want it - head on over to EasyWahmWebsites.com (Please! If you buy it, it’ll stop taunting ME to buy it, lol!!)

P.P.P.S (Last one - I promise!) Lucky for you, I love Val so much! If you tell Val that you heard about her site for sale from “Anita” … I will personally throw in a free Premium Classified Ad at MommysHelperOnline.com (Value $100).
