50 Traffic Methods

I just found this post over at the Warrior Forum, and had to blog about it. It’s a huge list of 50 different ways to drive traffic to your site. It’s a really good list, and a lot of the things we talk about on a regular basis.

Kids Crafts - Something Different

Sometimes I think I’m the queen of different. Or at least the queen of different ideas. No I’m not going to go off bragging, because that’s not my style. Although I had to make some comments today about my site, Crafty Kids Weekly.

4 Mortgage Rate Quotes

On the last review I did, I mentioned that we were hoping to refinance yet one more time here in the near future and that we were working on getting our credit fixed up.  Once we get our credit squeaky clean, this next website I’m reviewing is going to come in hand.  4 Mortgage Rate Quotes offers services such as:

You Need to Write

The thought hit me yesterday as I was reorganizing myself. In order to survive online, you have to know how to write. Even if you hire ghostwriters and PLR articles, at some point you are going to need to write something.

I’m Stuck

When I have a lot to do, I tend to get more done. I’m excited, motivated, and want to get everything done immediately. Although once it’s all done, I tend to get stuck in a “what can I do?” mode.

Wanna hear about Spanish Villas? LOL!

Or hey, maybe you’d be interested in a company that assists small companies in human resource issues?  Okay, I’m being rude and I’m sorry.  Link Worth had started a new program called Link Post (basically, I would review blogs and websites and then post about them here on our blog) and I was really excited to get working on it.  A few days ago I had my first request, then I had four yesterday (let me tell you I was excited to see the emails!) and then I had another today.  However, the big problem is … they have NOTHING to do with the subject of this blog!

Oh, I am so addicted!

I am so in trouble here! LOL!

You see, we built our home 8 years ago. As far as landscaping goes, we’ve done the bare minimum. Truth be told … I don’t have a clue as to what I’m doing. When I grew up, we lived in town with a very small yard and really no space to do anything. Not to mention, my mom wasn’t a “flower person”.

To top it off … my thumbs … well, my thumbs are purple. (Yes, I said purple, probably the farthest color from green.) Everytime I get a house plant, I kill it.

The Purr-fect Weight-loss Plan

©Lisa Barker

It takes a bit of effort to commit one’s self to a diet.  I do well when my meals are planned out.  I know just what to eat and when.  The trouble is, I don’t stop eating when I should.

So I asked my husband to serve me dinner.  I thought, if I didn’t serve myself, I couldn’t overeat.  I was also thinking of my cats, who vary in weight.  We set out one dish of food and they converge on it.  After so many minutes, we nudge the fatties aside and let the skinnies keep on eating.  I naively thought that this same type of principle, when applied to me, would work.  If my husband served my meal and that’s all I got, I wouldn’t be able to overeat.

What are your credit concens?

So, what are they?  What are your credit concerns?

Reviewing this blog was great for me because hubby and I have been working on cleaning up our credit and making it squeaky clean.  It’s not that we have horrible credit anymore, it’s just that … well, we were young and just about anyone would give us a credit card!  We haven’t had credit cards in a few years but, we’re still paying for it in our mortgage payment.  I don’t know how many times we’ve re-mortgaged now.  Then we kept getting these so-called “band-aid” loans that would give us this great rate that would only be good for about 2 years.  So, we’d have to re-mortgage again and so on and so on.
