A Tale of Two WAHMs (also known as 2WAHMs) is run by Kara Kelso and Anita DeFrank. Both have been an active part of the work at home mom world since 2002. Together they run sites such as Direct Sales Helpers, and many other joint projects.

Kara is the single mother of 2, and owner of several different sites. Her online journey began in 2002 with the creation of Mom’s Market, originally a shopping resource for parents. Today this site features product review of handmade items and businesses ran by mothers.
Idea Queen is another site ran by Kara, and is one of her biggest projects. This site is also a resource site for parents, with tips and helpful ideas for a wide variety of topics of interest to moms. Dubbed the “Idea Queen” sparked the creation of this site in 2005.
Along with her mother, Kara helps to run Prairie Soy Candles. Having resource sites and a retail site gives her much experience about how to market different types of sites. Her true passion lies in SEO, which you will find much discussion here about how she applies it to all her websites.

Anita DeFrank, mother of two and wife to her very best friend has been working at home for almost 6 years. While conducting online research for her home daycare, Anita quickly discovered the possibilities of making money online. She also soon found her true passion was not only to provide an additional income for her family but also help other moms do the same.
