A Tale of 2 WAHMs

My motivation has been next to nothing the last few weeks, and it’s time to change that. What better way to find my motivation than looking for a new project? I mean the majority of my sites are just on auto-pilot right now, so why not?

Idea Queen ranks well in the search engines for it’s keyword terms and it’s income has been quite steady for months now. There really isn’t anything I NEED to do on it.

Prairie Soy Candles is on auto as well, and really it’s offline season for candles.The affiliate program wasn’t immediately swamped like I thought it would be, and growing at a very slow and steady pace. I’m happy with that, no need to do any additional promotion with it right now. I believe the affiliates are pretty well set up too, so really there is nothing that NEEDS to be done.

Direct Sales Helpers is also coasting right now. We’re working on an ebook, but I’m finished with my half for the time being. Just waiting on suggestions from Anita before I go any further.

So that leaves me to do absolutely nothing. No work for the MAIN sites anyway. There is SOMETHING though…..a site I put on the back burner while working on other projects. Something I was actually very excited about several months ago. It actually focuses on one of my strongest skills. Rambling? No, close though! SEO Copywriting.

The site is actually done for the most part, minus the link page. Yes you heard me right. I finished the site, then did absolutely nothing with it. It could have been long ago released and doing well, had I not let it just sit all this time. *sigh*.

What exactly WAS I doing right after this was finished anyway? OH I know….the mailing list issues. Yeah that required some immediate attention and EVERYTHING was dropped. It took quite a bit of time to get things sorted out with THAT mess (lesson learned -use professional mailing lists from the very start or you WILL regret it later!).

Well it’s apparent my strong point really is writing and creating the content for the website. Finishing things I lack big time, but that’s ok. I’m more than ready to just write nothing but content and leave the rest of the promotion up to them! *GRIN* Of course, that requires me to do promotion on my own site first. Not so fun, but I’ll do it anyway.
