A Tale of 2 WAHMs

In previous posts you may have read the opening of the affiliate program for Prairie Soy Candles. I was cautious and a bit sneaky with it, as I didn’t want a flood of people joining all at once. I succeeded, since there’s only a handful as of right now and we aren’t even close to overwhelmed with business.

So instead of just going out and trying to sign up boat loads of people, I decided what we need first is an affiliate manual. Something to help get them started on promotion.

It’s really not a hard thing to do, since basic marketing can apply to just about any type of business. Regardless you need your own website, and promoting any type of website is pretty much the same.

Even with similarities, all types of business are different. So the information in this guide needs to be specifically for those selling candles in an affiliate program. So far I think it’s looking pretty good.

I do understand one basic human fact though…….no matter how much information and help you put in front of someone, it’s still up to them to do something with it. There will always be those who join programs and do nothing. Although I can at least help those who ARE doing something.
