A Tale of 2 WAHMs

Funny how when you work at home you get excited to be able to work. Today just happens to be one of those days. No obligations to be anywhere, just a day to work!

It’s been non-stop running for nearly a week. It’s been fun doing things with the kids (well for the most part, there’s been some moments I was begging for school to start again), but being able to work is great too. Even though I slept in this morning, I’ve still managed to get quite a bit done before lunch.

So far today I’ve got an Etsy listing up, checked email, and written two articles. Go me! Articles seem to come easy after craft shows. I usually spot all kinds of things to write about, or things other vendors are doing wrong. Like just last weekend would you believe there was vendors who only stayed for half the day of an all day event? Why?? I just don’t get that at all. I mean if you were at a real job, and you said to your boss “I’m kinda bored right now, so I’m going home”, do you think you’d keep your job for long? Yeah I don’t think so.

Well even though I feel like I accomplished at least something today, I’m still at a bit of a loss. Since I haven’t been able to focus on online stuff for over a week, I feel a bit unorganized. What needs to be done and what do I do now?

I think today I might just work on my candle affiliate program. There’s still a few more affiliate we’ll be accepting, and I want to work on some more options for those who have already joined. Such as the ability to sell offline and do home parties. Of course I would really like to gather a few more affiliates before I open it up, but it wouldn’t hurt to get it set up.

This post appears to be getting cut short due to children fighting and getting in trouble. So maybe I spoke too soon about being able to have a full work day…..
