Do You Outsource?

Earlier I shared a little about how I utilize outsourcing in my business.
(You can read my own adventures in outsourcing below.)

I’m absolutely loving it and really loving the opportunities it opens for me. In my case, there are two very large benefits/pluses about outsourcing.

—> I’m saving time.

—> I’m saving money and making more money.

There’s also a third little benefit in there that may be just for me. I know I’ve spoken of this before but it’s worth saying again. I’m helping fellow work at home moms make money from home! YAY ME!

This has been something that has always been a goal of mine literally right from the beginning. When I first started looking to work at home and of couse looking for that work at home “J.O.B” I decided I wanted to help others work at home too.

Especially when I seen just how difficult it was to find a job working at home. Not only are they few and far between – you have to rummage through all the garbage and scams out there too! What a pain in the toosh!

So, the fact that I now have a part in another mom making some money at home … I’m one super-happy camper! And I plan to do this many times over for a very long time.

But that’s just me. Now I want to hear from you. I’m just really super, genuinely curious!

Do you outsource? If so, what tasks do you outsource?

Please feel free to comment below. I’d love to hear from others who are enjoying the benefits of outsourcing as much as I am. (Feel free to answer any and all questions.)

1) Do you outsource? If so, what tasks do you outsource to others?

2) How has outsourcing made a difference in your business?
(Good and bad of course.)

3) Is there something else that you don’t outsource that you would like to? If so, what task is it and why aren’t you?

4) What made you finally decide to outsource?

5) For those of you that want to outsource but haven’t been able to do so yet. What’s holding you back?

I can’t wait to hear from you!

I would love to outsource but right now funds do not permit it. I will most definitely do it once I’m able to though.

I so know that problem Angie – very well. Luckily enough, right now my newest client is going to put me in a decent enough situation that it works now.

However, I have been in your shoes. I’ll tell you what I did to start. When I first started, I went very slow with it.

Actually, when I first started, I didn’t pay anything. She first started out by bartering (which I happen know you personally love!)

She took care of posting some articles on various places and a couple other little things basically for free to me. I gave her a lot of free advertising from it.

As she took care of some little things for me, I was able to take care of some other things which of course increased my income. We worked that way slowly for a while until we skipped it up a notch.

Next she started taking care of one section of my advertising per advertiser. In other words, I would pay her $5 for every listing that came through my direct sales company directory.

Eventually, we came up with a per hour rate that worked for the two of us and I just used her as need with some things.

I can’t remember what it was but I didn’t have time to do it. It only took her a couple of hours to do it for me and I paid her. It was more on an “as needed” basis.

Anyway … basically what I’m saying here is if you have small things that need done that you’d like someone else to do, start out small.

As you get more things accomplished, your income is bound to increase. From there, you can work up until you’re where you want to be at outsourcing.

Remember – outsourcing can start with as small as hiring one person to write one article for you. Work it into your budget as needed as you make more money.

And you may be quite surprised – VA work can end up being not quite as expensive as you thought. You have do a little research and price comparing but often you’ll find very reasonable wahm to hire (which if I know you like I think I do, that’s the type of VA you would want to hire anyway.)

Pick one little task, look around and give it a try for one task – I bet you’re pleasantly surprised.
