I’m Stuck
When I have a lot to do, I tend to get more done. I’m excited, motivated, and want to get everything done immediately. Although once it’s all done, I tend to get stuck in a “what can I do?” mode.
Regardless of what mode I’m in, I try to keep moving. Case in point - I’m sitting here writing on the blog. This is something that helps my business in some way, even if it’s not directly related to anything. Every post I make adds one more back link to the sites you see on the right (see “Our Websites”), more importance to the blog, and possibly even a new subscriber.
Another thing I do when I’m in “stuck mode” is get caught up on my groups or message boards. It may not be as important as working on SEO on my site or seeking link exchanges, but it’s still useful. I might make a new friend by helping them on something, or my signature line might pull in a new subscriber (or sale). It’s not something I want to spend all day every day doing, but it’s good when I can’t think of any thing else to do.
Getting caught up on email is another thing I try to do when I’m stuck. Idea Queen has content given to it on a regular basis because of the “submit” function on nearly every page. I usually let those pile up a bit before going through and adding all the new content. Takes less time that way to do them all at once. Unless of course I’m asking for content on a specific page, then it becomes my main focus for the next few days.
If all else fails and I feel stuck for more than a few days, I grab my notebook and start writing down plans and ideas. I write down things like what could make a certain site better, and what I need to do to get there. I make goals and crunch numbers. That usually gives me a boost for at least another week or two, and I’m back on top again.
So what do you do when you get stuck?

Thanks, I think I have plenty to do, it’s just a matter of figuring out basically where to start. LOL. That’s cute though.
