Selling Ads on AdBrite

While I’ve gone completely nuts buying ads on AdBrite, I was still just testing the water with the ads. After playing with my listings a hundred times over, I’ve finally got it figured out.

To offer flat rate ads (which I highly recommend doing, this is what I’ve “gone nuts” buying, so it would be in your best interest!), you have to make sure you have the “ad size” set to “flexible”. This is the ONLY way they let you offer flat rate ads. I sure wish I would have known this a few days ago, since I’ve about driven myself NUTS.

Also note it takes a day or two for the stats to be running correctly, and ads running on your site. Now that I’ve finally got the flat rate thing figured out, I’m super excited. I wish they would put this in their help files. Not only would I have found it sooner, but there would probably be more ads for me to buy. Yes I’m beyond hungry to buy more!

So if you sell advertising, make sure you join AdBrite and GET YOUR ADS UP FOR SALE! If the price is right, I will totally be buying. Just one more quick tip though – set the prices low to start with so more will buy your ads sooner.
