First of all it's great to hear that at the age of 24, those little life lessons you taught her are still being used :wink: We too make it mandatory that they save at least 50% of what they earn. Now occassionally, we do make an exception depending on what it is. We're including them in the discussion of what should be done too and they're surprising me! I expected to ask for a lot more than we were willing to offer but they kept it very reasonable. While were were discussing what the "potential" would be by figuring it out per month, per year etc. My daughter had already figured it out that she must save half of it. My son hasn't quite figured it out as of yet, lol! Thanks for sharing Beryl!
