Speaking of Advertising

We’ve been talking alot about advertising here on the blog lately.  If you have a targeted group of visitors and decent traffic, selling advertising can be one way to make money online.  Like I said though, you really have to have the proper stats to back up your pricing.  If you don’t have much traffic or are hosting with a free hosting company, then selling advertising will have to be put on the back burner until you build up your traffic.  Hint:  Look at your Daily Unique VisitorsNOT Hits.  Hits are literally a worthless stat.

I’ve been selling advertising for quite a few years now, mainly on my own.  However, I’m also listed on Link Worth and sell advertising through their website.  Their website describes them very well – a meeting ground for advertisers and website owners.  I’ve been working with this website for well over a year now and have been very satified.  This is one deposit I can count on every month ;)

I started with Link Worth when they were still fairly new and only offered partners the option to publish text link advertising.  As most should know, text link advertising is one of the best types of advertising when it comes to search engine marketing.  Search engines LOVE text so it makes perfect sense to choose text over graphics.

Advertising with text ads increases your link popularity.  The better your link popularity, the higher your website will be placed in the search engine results.  (Which IS the ultimate goal for every website owner, isn’t it??)

Link Worth has since expanded and now has a lot more to offer to both website owners (partners) and advertisers.  I’m really impressed with the quality of expansion they’ve showed.  I see myself as a partner for a long time to come.
