Lunar Eclipse Tonight (2/20)
I wanted to post this much earlier today but … such is life, it didn’t happen, lol!
We’ve actually been watching it now for a little over an hour (East Coast - PA). My kids are enjoying watching it but of course are very bummed that they can’t see the whole thing. So, if anyone finds any videos online of tonight’s lunar eclipse tomorrow or later, PLEASE share the link!!
Anyway, for those of you that didn’t already know and got here in time … look outside! It’s a really clear night here and very visable. We can even see the star Regulus right off to the left. I wish we had a telescope (and some day we will have a really good one!) However, for anyone who does have one … get that baby out! Supposedly, those with a decent telescope are also able to see the beautiful rings of Saturn!
Wow! I would love to see that ten times more than the eclipse itself!! That would be way awesome! I’m not a big Science buff or anything like that but … yeah, the universe amazes me!
Hope everyone gets to catch at least a glimpse of it!
Oh and you may be interested in watching NASA explaining a total lunar eclipse (Video - top left corner)
Enjoy!

We got to watch the start of it, but then it got cloudy on us.
Although Chase was pretty excited he got to see the red shadow even before the moon was completely covered, so that’s was most important. I would have liked to see it completely in the shadow but the clouds wouldn’t let me. Ah well it was still pretty cool!
