A Tale of 2 WAHMs

Kara recently posted about Kids and Ear Aches  I felt so bad for her little guy.  Now THIS mom is down with an ear ache … and all I can say is, Owwweeee!  I’ve been battling a cold since Saturday morning but woke up with this today.  I had a doctor’s appointment for on Tuesday but they cancelled because - how ironic - the doctor called in sick, lol! 

So, needless to say this morning I’ve been trying all the home remedies to hold me over until tomorrow morning for my re-scheduled appointment.  I’ve tried the Garlic Oil (some very brief relief but as I understand it, this is to keep the infection from getting any worse), Sweet Oil (this was my mom’s home rememdy - this helped with the pain for a while), and now I’m sitting on the couch with my laptop and a heating pad on my ear. 

You know, I don’t think I’ve had an ear ache since I was a little kid!  I think the last person to put drops in my ears was my mom!  LOL!  Think my mommy will come take care of me?  I’ll have to give her a call after she’s done with work!  I feel so bad for little kids now - as I’m reminded as to how much these really hurt!  What’s your home rememdy?

Well, anyway … it’s business as usual around here.  (Gotta love the laptop!)  I need to be a busy little blogger today … lots and lots to post!
